NAICS code represents a series of digits that categorize what a firm produces. This can be divided into Sectors (Two Digit), Sub Sectors (Three Digit), and further (Currently 4-Digit).

What is this tool?

This tool calculates the Location Quotient of various industries within a county and compares them to the national growth rate of that industry over the past four years. Using 2016-2019 data, animated graphics are made to show how markets within particular regions change over time. Data is available at the Two Digit, Three Digit, and Four Digit NAICS Level.
